2022 General Election Info
Election Day is Tuesday, November 8th, 2022
Update your Voter Registration
In Colorado, ballots are mailed to all active, registered voters.
We recommend that you check your voter registration at this link prior to every election and update it to ensure we have the correct mailing address for you.
You can also add a specific 'ballot mailing address' to your voter registration if you will be away from home when ballots are mailed. Please note that ballots cannot be forwarded by the U.S. Postal Service.
Mail Ballot Election
Receiving your mail ballot:
Ballots are mailed on October 17th to all active registered voters.
Didn't receive your mail ballot? Please check your registration to ensure we have the correct mailing address.
Need a replacement mail ballot? You can call our office at 970-429-2732.
Please note, after October 28th we can no longer mail a ballot to you. Instead, you can simply visit one of our Voter Service and Polling Centers to vote or collect a replacement mail ballot in person.
Returning your mail ballot:
You can mail your ballot back to us, or drop it off at one of our locations.
Our office must receive your ballot by 7pm on election day for your vote to count. Postmarks do not count!
After October 28th, we don't recommend that you mail your ballot. Instead, utilize any ballot drop box listed below to ensure that it arrives on time.
You can track your mail ballot using BallotTrax. This service will notify you when your ballot is received by our office and when it is accepted for counting.

Where to Vote
IMPORTANT: For the 2022 General Election, we have one polling center open for early voting starting on October 24th. It will be at the Pitkin County Administration and Sheriff's office in Aspen. However, on Monday November 7th, we are relocating this Polling Center to the Aspen Jewish Community Center in order to accommodate for higher turnout. It will remain at the Aspen Jewish Community Center for Election Day on November 8th. Therefore, we will not have a polling center at the Pitkin County Administration and Sheriff's Office on Election Day.
You can vote in person during Early Voting or on Election Day. Remember to bring your identification with you! You can find a full list of acceptable identification here.
